What is the room rate per night?

Can I stay in a different hotel than the conference hotel?

The conference venue provides the best opportunity for networking. That said you are of course welcome to stay in a hotel of your choice. However please be aware that EAAP has negotiated a special discount for conference delegates and their partners/ family members at the conference hotel.

Will I receive a conference certificate?

Yes. The certificate counts as an approved EAAP course with respect to accreditation as EAAP Aviation Psychologist or EAAP Aviation Human Factors Specialist.

How much is the conference fee?

The conference fee is calculated depending on how long you are planning to attend, and your EAAP membership status. All details on conference fees and special offers can be found on Conference Fees

How can I pay the conference fee?

Upon online registration you will receive an invoice with the total amount and payment instructions.

How can I get from Schiphol Airport to the conference venue using public transport?

There are easy public transport links from Schiphol airport to the conference venue.

Firstly take the train direct from Schiphol Airport to The Hague central station (Den Haag Centraal). Once you are at The Hague central station go through the gates and then turn left to go to the trams.

Tram 17 will take you to the conference venue. The tram stop is just outside the railway station. Get out at 'Kunstmuseum' and walk the last 400 metres to the hotel.

Total travel time is approximately one hour.

You can travel on public transport in the Netherlands using your bank card to check in and check out. You always need to check out, also on buses and trams so don't forget!
For trains you need to check in before you get on the train. For trams and buses you check in when you get on.

How can I get from Rotterdam Airport to the conference venue using public transport?

To get from Rotterdam Airport to the conference venue first take the number 33 bus to the Meijersplein Metro station.

Then take the RET E-train to Den Haag Central Station.

From Den Haag central station Tram 17 will take you to the conference venue. The tram stop is just outside the railway station on the same level. Get out of the tram at 'Kunstmuseum' and walk the last 400 metres to the hotel.

Total travel time is approximately 1.15h.

Can I get a taxi from the airport to the hotel?

Both airports have taxi stands but we would strongly recommend prebooking a taxi if travelling from the airport.

A prebooked taxi from either airport will cost around €80. A taxi from the taxi stand could easily cost double that.

You may also be able to get an Uber from Rotterdam airport, and the the cost will be slightly lower. At the time of writing an uber from Rotterdam airport to the conference venue comes in at around €40.

Can I bring family members and partners along to the conference?

Yes, family members and partners are most welcome. If they wish to attend the Gala dinner tickets are available at the EAAP information desk.

Is there a babysitter/ kindergarten available?

EAAP does not provide such facilities, please check with the hotel directly.

What should I wear to the conference?

The dresscode for the EAAP conference is smart casual.

What should I wear to the gala dinner?

For the gala dinner participants usually dress up a little (think 'cocktail' , this is however in no way mandatory).
